Effective 2 July 2026. Written in plain language on purpose.
The short version: Haven is a protective tool, not a guarantee. Screen only people who have agreed to it, do not misuse the service, and never treat a Haven verdict as a substitute for your own judgment about money.
By creating an account or using Haven (the web app, Android app, API, browser extension, or messaging integrations), you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Haven.
Most people set Haven up for a parent or grandparent. You must have that person's (or their legal guardian's) informed agreement before screening their messages and calls. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including any that govern recording or monitoring communications where you live.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Haven is under active development. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We will try to avoid breaking things you rely on, but we do not promise uninterrupted service.
Haven is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haven and its operator are not liable for losses arising from use of the service, including losses caused by a scam that Haven did not catch, a safe message it flagged, a missed or delayed alert, or service downtime. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service (Haven is currently free, so that amount is zero).
You can stop using Haven and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
If these terms change materially, we will update this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use Haven after a change means you accept the new terms.
